it's a bit OT, but...

how do you find managing Gentoo for server?  i've tried it a couple of times, 
and couldn't find a midpoint between updating too often (often breaking 
config files) and the needed stability for a server.

also, i couldn't find any cluster-aware tools for EVMS (like clvm for LVM2), 
is there anything like that?
