Indeed yes:

sched_id = self.xc.sched_id_get()

(I don't know where this function comes)

All verified, /proc/xen exists, and is as per the wiki article.

I've checked this also on modular builds of the xen dom0 kernel, the
error changes a bit on the "Permission Denied" header of xend.log, but
the error it's always in the same region
