Oops, yes, sorry I left out of my post; I first tried the Xen initrd
that was installed by the rpm, then the Xen initrd that I built myself,
and finally the CentOs one shown below. All had the same result with a
few extra module errors from the CentOs ramdisk.

How about using the Xen initrd... /initrd-2.6-xen-cust.img
