I modprobe'd in the bnx2 module (tg3 is built into the kernel) WIth
no luck, I also booted the xen-live cd and tried there modprobe both
tg3 and bnx2 still no /dev/eth0
ok. Which distro did you use?
Try to compile your kernel with tg3 and bnx2 built in.
