Alessandro I don't understand why you need another NIC.
You can make the Broadcom card work by disabling the managment firmware. Have you tried that?

On e1000 I found in list differents threads with differents issues. I have bougth a Dell box with broadcom tg3 :-/ (http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-users/2006-12/msg00958.html
) I'm looking for a nic to patch the problem.
