Re: [Xen-users] installing domainU
It's full virtualization guest. Reset mem usage for dom0 fixed the
freeze problem. However, SDL window does not pop up even though guest os
boots.
Is SLES10 newer than SuSE 10.1? Is SuSE 10.1 called OpenSuSE?
Thanks,
Simon

Is this a full-virtualized guest? If so make sure to lock down your
memory on Dom0 (IE - xm mem-set 0 512), there is a known issue there.
Otherwise, if that issue doesn't apply, I recommend you use SLES10
rather than Suse10.1. A lot of work, fixes and testing went into Xen
on SLES10, and I don't know if those fixes are all available on Suse
10.1 which shipped much earlier. If you decide to go with SLES10,
make sure to register with Customer Center and get the latest Xen
downloads ( I believe the updates are free for the first 15 days).
Thanks,
Glen

I am having problem with Dell D820 (Core Duo T2500). As soon as domU
installer starts, the whole machine freezes. I have to power cycle the
machine. This happens to both using Yast and from command line. I use
SuSE 10.1 i386.
