I am not sure which linux distro you are using, so it is hard to comment. If using SLES10, boot to the Xen kernel (should be in /boot/grub/menu.lst if you installed the xen pattern) then just run "yast2 xen" from the command line and walk yourself through the install. Really quite easy with SLES10.
