Uhm, just my two cents. My 64bit xen runs really fine based on GentooPortage's -xen source kernel ver 2.6.21. (Dom0 and DomU, because the vanilla support is only 32bit so far).

then as suggested I ran:

make

and got the following error right in the first seconds:
