Switching from 32-bit to 64-bit "en vivo" this way is begging for
    pain.
Backing up your images and Xen setup is *good*. I've seen reports of
    people running 32-bit VM's successfully on 64-bit OS's, but I've
personally had serious trouble with running non-rebuilt apps from
    32-bit
environments in a 64-bit environment. (Wacom devices, in particular.)
Why do you have to update your server to 64-bit but not your VM's?
64-bit was the request of the boss for the base operating
system, but i could install i386 also.
the
instantaneous installation was actually not for active service. but now the virtual machines
are running, and i have to switch the operating system cause we do no use fedora on our linux servers at all.
also you do not recommend to install 64-bit? than i will install i386,
i think there would not be such a big difference,or?
thank you Nico!

 I haven't tried running 32-bit DomU's under 64-bit operating sytems. I
may get a chance to in 2 weeks, but it just seems to be begging for trouble.
