All these postings were about getting to domU's from the outside.  I
have not even started a domU yet, /dev/eth0  does not exist in dom0.
Or is this same problem maybe?

Sorry I didn't understand.
Have you build even b2nx kernel driver?

You need tg3 and b2nx kernel support for your ethernet adapter works in dom0.

I modprobe'd in the bnx2 module (tg3 is built into the kernel) WIth no luck, I also booted the xen-live cd and tried there modprobe both tg3 and bnx2 still no /dev/eth0
