Hi,

I'm trying to compile xen on a debian on a ia64 HP integrity blade. I'm using
the stock 2.6.18 kernel, installed the sources and symbolic linked the
tar.bz2 file into my build dir ( so the make would find it ).

During compilation I receive following error :

make[3]: Leaving directory `/root/xensource/build-linux-2.6.18-xen_ia64'
make -C build-linux-2.6.18-xen_ia64 ARCH=ia64
INSTALL_PATH=/root/xensource/dist/install vmlinuz

I tried the mercurial version and the version from the website ( 3.1.0
prerelease ). Both have the same error.

Does anybody have a solution ? Would it help to upgrade to the 2.6.21 kernel ?

Thanks in advance !

Peter.
