[Xen-ia64-devel] Weekly Xen-IA64/VTI status report.

Hi all,

Xen/IA64 doesn't have showstopper issue this week. An important feature: SMP 
XenU is enabled by Tristan!

Major Issues:
1. Xen0 kernel panic when setting dom0_mem=2048M.
2. VTI domain often reports "Oops: time tick before it's due". It more easily 
happened in 2 VTI domains are running.
3. Qemu Window may disappear during DomainVTI is running.

Bugs fixed:
1. SMP XenU can boot up!!! (Actually it is a feature enable.)

For nightly testing, most of cases could pass. Occasional some case would fail, 
but can't be easily reproduced. Please see the attachment for the detail.

Test Environment:
    Machine                     : Itanium 2 on Tiger4
        Xen Source tree : xen-ia64-unstable
    Changeset           : 9688-> 9752
        Build method            : make -j5 with default kernel config.
        Xen0 Memory             : 512M
        XenU Memory     : 256M/512M
        VTI Memory              : 256M/512M
    Xen0 OS                     : RHEL4 U2 (with nosmp config)
    VTI OS                      : RHEL4 U2 (vcpus=1)
    XenU OS                     : RHEL4 U2 (with nosmp config)

I also begin to run latest LTP (20060411) on latest Xen0. Found more than 10 
cases fail! Will rerun and report later.
As SMP xenU is enabled, will add it to nightly testing.
