That isn't quite true. A dom0 kernel based on the current
xen/stable-2.6.32.x won't work with xen-4.0.0 but it will work with
xen-4.0-testing (currently at 4.0.1-rc4-pre) as that has the corresponding
patches since 4.0.1-rc2.
