[Xen-devel] Removing ACPI support from LINUX
Hi, all.
I'm using XEN 3.0 and Linux 2.6.18 (FEDORA distro). I'm trying to
remove ACPI module from the kernel. The result is very confusing:
BIOS bug no explicit IRQ entries
Red Hat version starting
till this point the printouts similiar to regular FEDORA.
then
fatal: port failed to respond (30 sec)
COMReset failed (device not ready)
After few retries comes the reboot.
According to the message the failure comes from the SATA driver, which
is not able to perform hard reset.
Has anybody encountered similiar behaviour? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Alex
