Hi, 

Both use Python 2.3.4 and Twisted 1.3.0rc1

Are you using an SMP host?  I would like to reboot into nosmp and try that,
but I can't right now (no access to the pxe grub entry).   I hear "timings"
and think this may be a good thing to check out (?).
