Perhaps this is not entirely true.  I just looked at CMPI 1.3 and 2.0
specs.  1.3 has EXTERN_C and SetInstance(), but not CMPI_EXTERN_C or
ModifyInstance().  2.0 has ModifyInstance() but not SetInstance(). 
Also, 2.0 does not mention EXTERN_C *or* CMPI_EXTERN_C.  So I believe OW
supports CMPI 1.3.  As for EXTERN_C vs CMPI_EXTERN_C, I guess it has to
be handled in the providers.
