Well, on windows you can get that.
If we can't get that on Linux, we should optimize. 

Someone wants to run some benchmarks against ramdisk targets
using Linux initiator? 

And yeah, to get 12500 IOPS from disk-based target you need
to have a LOT of disks.. 

assuming single 7200 rpm sata disk can deliver around 100 random
IOPS max, 12500 IOPS would require around 125 disks in raid-0.

So for benchmarking initiator performance it's best to use
ramdisk targets.
