Instead of
# cd /usr/src/xen-unstable/
# make world
you run
# make dist
In case Xen 4.0 would  been released pvops kernel is supposed to be built by default. Mount /usr/src/xen-unstable/dist as  NFS share on original server to current server's  /mnt directory.
# cd /mnt/dist
make install

Boris.
P.S. I understand that Ubuntu/Debian packaging would be nice.
But , there is no much chance Canonical would do that for Lucid Lynx Server. Too much excitement with KVM (???)

Hi Boris,

Nothing against building from source, but its un-maintainable, if you
have a bunch of servers to manage.. think of updating and patching each
of this boxes...

And Olivier recommended the xen-pkgs from unstable without hvm-support,
which i just wanted to mention...

cu,

thomas
