Presumably, I need to run the official Xen kernel, then? Is this pre-patched? 
If not, where is this patch?

I looked through the How-to list in the wiki and there is nothing around about 
this aspect of PCI-passthrough apart from with vt-d. I don't mind putting a 
page together to cover what the manual doesn't, but I am going to need some 
help from the list or other sources given that I am a passthrough noob.
