How does one install a new vm behind a proxy? When I start the
virt-install routine Xen seems to be unable to load information from
the ftp/http sources.

As a consequence, I tried to install from the DVD-iso as well as the
file system. Xen then prompts "What type of media contains the
packages to be installed?". After choosing 'hard drive' it prompts
that I do not seem to have any hard drives on my system (my favorite
error of the day ;-).

What is my best shot? Since I have already downloaded the entire iso
image, I would rather install either from the iso itself or the
mounted file system...

Many thanks in advance! - Alex

How large would you like the disk (/vm/vm01.img) to be (in gigabytes)? 10
Would you like to enable graphics support? (yes or no) no
What is the install location? /home/bSmith/Desktop/CentOS-5.2-i386-bin-DVD.iso
