They are on separate 'controllers', so there is no resulting confusing.

I have actually just fixed the formatting issue. It was related to
windows giving us buffers that were not aligned to a 512 byte boundary,
which the vbd backend driver won't accept. My workaround involves a huge
hit in performance and also had a nasty bug in it and that was causing
the format issue.

Not yet checked into hg so you'll have to wait a bit. If I don't get the
other bug resolved to be able to do a binary release, I'll at least
check in the format fix to hg.
