Yeah, I'm disappointed at the open source, or at least free and 
non-proprietary solutions offered so far. I'd love to know how the 
proprietary drivers get better performance.

My network benchmark post seems to have disappeared from the archives (unless 
I accidently sent that as a private mail to Emre). Basically, it's a very 
simplistic timed file copy from domu to dom0. I reboot the domu with the 
driver I'm testing, and after the cpu load dies down from initialization, I 
copied a 40MB file and divided the file size by the wall clock time in secs. 
Then I rebooted and tried the next driver.
