I tried following this, but  the only thing I get either in the SDL
windows or in the vncviewer is a black window.
There are messages about "INIT Id "S0" respawning too fast: disabled
for 5 minutes" in domU.

Config files look as you suggest, tools are compiled and installed
with the right options, mingetty is installed in the domU. What else
could I look after?
