Hi anyone,

simple Problem, i have 2 Servers with Xen3.0.3:

SRV1: Intel Dual 2 Core 64 Bit
SRV2: Intel Pentium 4 32 Bit

Can i Migrate (Copy from Image) a Guest Domain (e.g.
gentoo-x64.img) from
my SRV1 and start it on SRV2 ?

Or can bring this trouble?

Many thanks!
Maybee

Are the guests paravirtualized or HVM?

Best,

Does it matter? I'm fairly sure that Xen isn't quite cool enough to run a 64-bit VM (paravirtualized or otherwise) on a 32-bit CPU...

If both boxes were running Xen/32bit and 32-bit Linux kernels/ userland, then it could be possible, depending on HVM/etc.
