Are you using gentoo, by any chance?
It doesn't matter actually, whether glibc nptl is located on /lib/tls or
just /lib.
The point is, if you want to use nptl glibc, you have to compile it with
-mno-tls-direct-seg-refs. See
http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenSpecificGlibc
Since usually the nptl version is located on /lib/tls, Xen issues a
warning about /lib/tls.
