Is it possible to use the Linux kernel 2.6.17 instead of Linux kernel
2.6.16 for Xen yet? If so, besides the version number in
buildconfigs/mk.linux-2.6-xen, what else do I have to change to make it
work?
I think this can better be answered on xen-devel - a guess is that you
have to take all the xen patches and apply them to the lernel of your
choice.
As Kernel code evolves between versions, it most probably won't be
enough to just change the version number, there will be minor or major
kernel source hacking be involved in getting this accomplished.
You might try using fedora, or at least the kernel they made.
