Hi,

I'm looking for making work win2000 under Xen, and things aren't going as
smoothly as I would have liked.
I'm runing Xen under Debian, I compiled it, and makes it worked:
- XP boots and work (except that keyboard mapping is not perfect)
- the install process of Win2000 doesn't work until completion

and for win2000 I don't understand why: I have the splashscreen (with the more
or less blue bar at the bottom circling), but it doesn't go further (I leaved
it runing for a night just in case), like if it doesn't manage to pass x86
protected mode or something like this. Does anyone manage to make win2000
working?

I have other question as well:
- with the binary tar ball, why there isn't hvmloader? it is not possible to
test VT-enable guest if it is lacking, isn't it?
- where doesn't i change the keyboard mapping (under vnc) : I can't do '.' for
example). I think it is linked to qemu, but i don't know where I can change
configuration.
- with vnc I have some trouble also with the mouse pointer.
- I manage to make the kernel crash, but I have no dump sorry.

thanks,

/nicolas zin
