The script you are mentioning is not part of Xen, it is an add-on script that the Fedora team added to FC5 to help install FC5 domU’s.  It is not intended to install other distros etc.

For Fedora-specific help, you will find it easier at the Fedora-Xen mailing list:

http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-xen

Also, I have a how-to describing how to use QEMU to setup any version of linux as a domu here:

http://mitopia.net/index.php/Xen_3.0.2_Setup

The specific example described in that HowTo is installing FC4 as on domU on a FC5 dom0, but it will work for any type of domU.

The name of the script is xenguest-install.py
To use this I just run this.  I get asked a few questions like how much memory and disk space.  Then the install fires off.

It works a treat.

I'll hold my hand up and say I've not worked with a Fedora Dom0 :-) However,
there's no reason why with a few changes to the config file for your Dom1 you
can't kick off an install for Dom2 etc. etc.

What is the name of the script that you are using to start the install of your
Dom1? It's likely this is a Fedora supplied script in which case it should be
possible to create your own config file outside of the Fedora utilities and
start the VM using the xm create <config file> command.
