Quoting Andreas Heinecke <andreas@xxxxxxxxxxxx>:
is it possible to use the xen kernel patches usually suited for the 2.6.16 kernel with new 2.6.16.16 kernel?

If you compile Xen and its kernels yourself, yes. Just download
patch-2.6.16.16.bz2 from your favourite kernel mirror, unpack
and move/rename to (relative to your Xen source directory)
 ./patches/linux-2.6.16/linux-2.6.16.16.patch It's important
that the filename ends with .patch

Then `make world` and you have your 2.6.16.16-xen kernel(s)

Cheers, Peter
