RE: [Xen-devel] Xen 4.0 in debian packages?

@Thomas Goirand
I look forward to testing out your HVM support after you submit your package into the Debian repositories :)

By adding qemu-dm support, will users be able to use stubdom-hvms? Also does your package address "blktap2" as Pasi pointed out may be missing?

I think Debian packages don't include HVM support.. blktap2 is also missing.
Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong..

Hi,

I am supposed to be doing the package for the HVM, but unfortunately, I
didn't receive the support from this list when I asked about it. However,
you can find it here:

http://ftparchive.gplhost.com/debian/pool/lenny/main/x/xen-qemu-dm-3.4/

and here:

http://ftparchive.gplhost.com/debian/pool/lenny/main/x/xen-qemu-dm-4.0/
your package only includes the qemu-dm, so clearly that doesnt work.

I never wrote that you need ONLY this, of course, you ALSO need the dom0 pv_ops
kernel and the hypervisor, my package only adds HVM (qemu-dm) support.

Thomas
