Just another note:
Before the patch, ping -s 6000 from dom0 -> domU *and* domU -> dom0 *both*
make the network hang. Now with the patch, ping -s 6000 from dom0 -> domU
*never* hangs (or, to be more accurate, successful for the first 127
packets before Ctrl+C !). but from domU -> dom0 network occassionally loses
packets.
Sth *asymmetric* is playing the trick. This may shed some light on the
problem. I have to go to sleep before figuring it out.
