it's nice but not without trouble. 

o the whole way python does install is and always has been broken if 
   you're not root. If you're rminnich, then due to root  quash it has to 
  run as you. But to install it needs to be root. But if you run as 
   you you can't install it, and if you run as root it can't get to the 

o the other bits are failing too, not sure why yet:
  wget  \
     -O- | gunzip -c > patches/ebtables-brnf-5_vs_2.4.25.diff
