In theory, any virtualization should work, with some efforts. The
usual methods for cloning windows installation can be applied.
I prefer virtualbox though:
- install XP on virtualbox with default settings (which should have
APIC disabled)
- install IDE drivers (just to be sure):
http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Migrate_Windows
- create suitable xen HVM config
- convert vbox disk image to raw (using "VBoxManage clonehd")
