RE: [Xen-users] Windows 2003 x64 under Debian amd64 - hangs on "Setup is Starting Windows"



Thanks james/mats - I don't know of any bugs with win2k3 64b with 3.0.4
though - or with 3.1.0.  we're also testing the win2k3 SP2 with most
recent rollout (march?) to eliminate the extra TPR intercepts for 32b.

3.0.4 is the base in SLES10SP1 and that is working well with win2k3
guests, but it's been tweaked a bit with backported patches.  We've also
tested win2k3 SMP (2,3,4 VCPUs) and those worked (acpi/apic/pae=1 in
guest config).
But please let us know if you do have any issues with 3.1.0 after you
give a spin, we'll take a look and try to match your
environment/configuration..
