You shouldn't need NFSSR, I don't see any reason why FileSR shouldn't work.
As Dave pointed out, there's something wrong when the SM executes "tap-ctl
list". Apparently there is an error but we're the error handling path seems to
fail. In file /usr/lib/xapi/sm/blktap2.py, function "list", class "TapCtl", can
you print the exception right after catching it (use util.logException) and
post the output?
