Greetings,

I thought I'd give xvpappliance a try. The install instructions are very good, however when attempting to connect to a console, I get: Network error: remote side closed connection.

The /var/log/xvp.log states:

Apr 15 18:59:06 xvp[2611]: Info: Listening on port 5900 (VNC :0) for [multiplexer] Apr 15 19:00:47 xvp[2675]: Info: Starting proxy: chidboo to [multiplexer] Apr 15 19:00:47 xvp[2675]: Info: XVP auth credentials root@xenserver: 2b02ff8e-cb60-0fd2-e89f-11250b90dd33 Apr 15 19:00:47 xvp[2675]: Info: Multiplexer selecting VM uuid=2b02ff8e-cb60-0fd2-e89f-11250b90dd33 in pool xenserver
Apr 15 19:00:48 xvp[2675]: Error: SSL read: Error 6
Apr 15 19:00:48 xvp[2675]: Info: Stopping: proxy: chidboo to uuid=2b02ff8e-cb60-0fd2-e89f-11250b90dd33

Is this a certificate thing? I'm running my browser on windows and it does compain when I attempt a connection using:

https://xvpappliance.ip.address

Note that I am trying to go to the console on the xvpappliance VM. This error doesn't happen when I go to my Debian Lenny VM -- the console works fine.

If this is not the correct list, can you point me to an area I can get help on this? I'm 90% there...I think ;)

Thanks in advance,
Dave
