last time i believe i uploaded a FreeBSD iso here

and did a refresh, and it also appeared as an ISO that i could attach to a vm to install from

Hello,

I might be wrong, but CIFS share (sr) isn't an option? (at least this way it works in XenServer)

yeah unfortunatley we dont do nfs here, i need to simply import the iso so i can boot and install vms from it, it was doable before in 0.1 i simply uploaded the iso, andf refreshed, so why is it not occuring now or whats changed

IMHO the easiest is to use an nfs based sr, in my experience its content is refreshing if you add or remove isos.
