Doing the daily dirvish backup at 2:00am these 2 messages have appeared on the console (in a screen session):

Message from syslogd@xenserver at Tue Mar 3 02:22:21 2009 ...
xenserver kernel: CR2: ffff88038a9c315c

Message from syslogd@xenserver at Tue Mar 3 02:22:21 2009 ...
xenserver kernel: Oops: 0000 [1] SMP

What can be the problem?

I have been running xen 3.2.1 since last August, but I have never seen such kind messages, though there have been some unexplainable freezes, and I regularly receive "Time went backwards" messages (I guess they are somehow related to the system load or I/O performance, but I cannot prove it).

The hardware is a TYAN VX50, 8-way Opteron w/ 4 8220 Dual Core CPUs and 16G RAM. Since the problem of the onboard NVidia SATA controller, I installed a PCI Adaptec card (aacraid module). The 4 500GB WD disks are in mirroring RAID1 pairs (i.e. I have ~1TB).

There is a debian-etch in PV domU and a win2003 server in HVM domU on LVM partitions and dom0 itself serves also a couple of LTSP clients (10-15) which are connecting to the linux domU (via remote X or ldm) and win2003 domU (via rdesktop), resp.

... and +1: `xm dmesg` (see below) contains a lot of
