Thread-topic: [Xen-users] cpu affinity lost after save/restore
Hi Joe,

I might be misunderstanding but I think the VM config file sample below
will pin 2 VCPUs on cores 6 & 7 including on startup and restore:

vcpus = 2
cpus = ["5", "6"]

i have found some discussions on the devel archives about cpu affinity
not
being remembered across save/restore and how migration uses the same
process as save/restore. the implication is that cpu affinity is
purposely being ignored. is that the case? if so, is there an
automated
way to set cpu affinity after a restore? i realize that i may being
using
affinity without really needing to, but until i have more experience
with
xen, i like the idea of isolating guests to specific cpus.
