Hi,

Xen 4.x support the vEth number up to 7 or 8 per VM?

The Xen official document and the Xen wiki document both describe the
Xen 4.x support the vEth number up to 7 per Guest OS.

Quote from http://docs.xensource.com/XenServer/4.1.0/1.0/en_gb/reference.html#networking
"""XenServer supports up to 4 physical NICs per XenServer Host and up to 7 virtual network interfaces (VIFs) per VM."""

Quote from http://wiki.xensource.com/xenwiki/XenNetworking?highlight=%28network%29
""" Xen creates, by default, seven pair of "connected virtual ethernet interfaces" for use by dom0. ""

But there are others description "veth0 is connected to vif0.0, veth1 is connected to vif0.1, etc, up to veth7 -> vif0.7.".

As we know, the count of 1 to 7 is 8, NOT 7, right?
So, the XenServer shall support the vEth number up to 8, NOT 7, yes?

Thanks,
--Wj
