If that's the case, has either of you tried setting the MTU in the Windows 
registry, to disable large packets? 
HKLM/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/Tcpip/Parameters/Interfaces/<uuid #>
It's left as an exercise figuring out what your nic's uuid # is :-)
