Hi all,

i just upgraded Xen from 3.0.2 to 3.1 and the Dom0 Kernel from 2.6.16.28
to 2.6.20 (xen-sources-2.6.20-r3 on gentoo). I upgraded the kernel config
with oldconfig. The process was very easy. But since then i get a lots
of error messages like this in the DomO:

BUG: at kernel/irq/manage.c:33 synchronize_irq()
 [<c0144679>] synchronize_irq+0x69/0x70
 [<c0256cb2>] vortex_timer+0x32/0x3d0
 [<c0133aad>] hrtimer_run_queues+0xcd/0x190
 [<c0256c80>] vortex_timer+0x0/0x3d0
 [<c0125e35>] run_timer_softirq+0x145/0x1e0
 [<c0122012>] __do_softirq+0xa2/0x130
 [<c0122125>] do_softirq+0x85/0x90
 [<c0106f95>] do_IRQ+0x45/0x80
 [<c025cd92>] evtchn_do_upcall+0xc2/0x100
 [<c0105306>] hypervisor_callback+0x46/0x4e
 [<c0108384>] raw_safe_halt+0x84/0xb0
 [<c0103f31>] xen_idle+0x31/0x60
 [<c0102fe2>] cpu_idle+0x62/0x80
 =======================

But there seems to be no impact on performance or system stability. In
fact I realized the error messages one week after the update because my
messages file was about 400 mb.

Any suggestions or hints what this could be?

Thanks

Florian
