Hi,
I'm using openSuse 10.2 with Xen3.0.3. I installed domU based on the same
openSuse 10.2 with Gnome.
I'm creating ssh session ("ssh -X 192.168.0.86") and start vncviewer
("vncviewer 192.168.0.86:1")
and I get gray VNC window. On domU side:
.xsession-errors
(==) Log file: "/var/log/Xorg.0.log", Time: Wed Sep 12 15:37:44 2007
(==) Using config file: "/etc/X11/xorg.conf"

Fatal server error:
xf86OpenConsole: Cannot open /dev/tty0 (No such file or directory)

XIO: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server ":0.0"
     after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
Couldnt get a file descriptor referring to the console

And there is no /dev/tty0 on domU:
vmGnome:~ # ll /dev/tty[0-9]
crw--w---- 1 root tty 4, 1 Sep 13 09:39 /dev/tty1
crw--w---- 1 root tty 4, 2 Sep 13 09:33 /dev/tty2
crw--w---- 1 root tty 4, 3 Sep 13 09:33 /dev/tty3
crw--w---- 1 root tty 4, 4 Sep 13 09:33 /dev/tty4
crw--w---- 1 root tty 4, 5 Sep 13 09:33 /dev/tty5
crw--w---- 1 root tty 4, 6 Sep 13 09:33 /dev/tty6
crw--w---- 1 root tty 4, 7 Sep 13 09:33 /dev/tty7
crw--w---- 1 root tty 4, 8 Sep 13 09:33 /dev/tty8
crw--w---- 1 root tty 4, 9 Sep 13 09:33 /dev/tty9

MAKEDEV doesn't helps:
vmGnome:~ #MAKEDEV console
/sbin/MAKEDEV: line 170: major_/dev/tty=5: No such file or directory
/sbin/MAKEDEV: line 170: major_/dev/console=5: No such file or directory
/sbin/MAKEDEV: line 170: major_/dev/ptmx=5: No such file or directory
/sbin/MAKEDEV: line 170: major_device-mapper=253: command not found
/sbin/MAKEDEV: line 184: device: unknown major number for vcs

I've seen many post about this error message but none of them has a
resolution.

Thanks for your help,
Artiom
