I recently upgraded from a year-old version of xen-testing 3.0 (compiled
from source) to xen3.0.3 (using FC6 rpms). I've had problems using my old
paravirtualized domU images with the newer version of Xen. After a few days
of debugging, I'm stumped on one final step. The guests seem to boot, but
their consoles seem to freeze after the init process is complete. Does the
new version of Xen require some extra work to get serial consoles to work
properly? I've tried messing with the domU config files, and with the domU
inittab files, but no luck. Has something in Xen changed? If not, can
anyone tell me how they get paravirtualized guests serial consoles to work?
