I've been struggling with this one also.  Specifically, I'm wondering 
how I can change cdroms while a machine is on.  My first thought was to 
edit the config file then issue a kill -HUP to the qemu-dm process.  
That failed (the machine just shut down).
The only thing I found said to go to the qemu prompt 
(http://mitopia.net/index.php/Xen_3.0.2_Setup#Install_GuestOS), but I'm 
wanting a way to do it without having to break out of the VM (I was 
hoping for a dom0 command line way).
