Do you mean running Fedora guest kernels in other distros ? Or running
other distro's guest kernels themselves ? The latter should be no problem
at all because we have made /zero/ change to the hypervisor ABI. The
former is tricky because very distro has different assumptions about the
way you construct initrd / what kernel modules are expected to to be
included in initrd, vs loaded later in boot process.

If you say this is so hard or impossble to do,
how can you explain that on all other distributions as dom0, I can run
all other distributions as domU, with the dom0 native xen kernels, and
everything just works without big hacking?

I tried a lot of these cross-distribution things, but ONLY with the
one combination of Fedora Xen Kernels and Fedora 6 as a dom0 it is
impossible to run some distributions as domU, and possible but very
hard to get some others runinng. It works even out of the box with the
Xensource Xen packages used on exactly the same Fedora 6 install.
