Anything of interest in the xen-hotpulg log? I also don't think you want
to name your dom-u's vif 'blah', that was just an example :) try ..
vifvm5.0 or similar.

In /var/log/xen-hotplug.log I have:

interface vif1.0 does not exist!
interface vif2.0 does not exist!
xenstore-read: couldn't read path backend/vbd/2/2051/node
