Re: [Xen-users] understanding xm top

So the "whole box" means the CPU
utilization for each domain is the percentage by all available CPUs? For
example, suppose I have four CPUs and domain0/domainU each has one VCPU (mapped
to a fixed physial CPU). If xm top shows 10% CPU utilization for domain0,
it means the CPU utilization in domain0 is 10% of FOUR physcial
CPUs. Is this right?

Thanks,

These values are for the "whole box" meaning: whatever you
start dom0 with, whatever you start a domU with, xm top will show.  They
will not change even after doing vcpu-sets or mem-sets, and so they do always
  match with xm list.

  Are the  CPU(%) and
MAXMEM(%)  a percentage of the total cpu and mem for the whole
box or just what they have been allocated, as shown by `xm
    list`?
  Thanks Chaps.
