It did, I noticed the same change when going from 2.0.7 to 3.0.2. 

I Didn't find it annoying enough to ask about, but would also be
interested in having it remain connected.

Would be nice to be able to configure that behavior for each dom-u in
its config. My IP-KVM loses window focus when it doesn't remain
connected oddly enough. 

Only annoying when I forget about it and have other editor windows open
(and keep typing .. )
