To sum up the issue - once xend start, the DNS dies, and the IP

Xen is network intense and you should not try getting started with
xen on a host in active production with routing and ipfilter rules,
but on a test machine.

Please read the docs about xen and networking in the wiki and the xen
manual, then come back with questions instead of sending this mail and
your whole net config again and again.
